Haena Laura Na is a journalist, visual anthropologist and educator who works at the intersection of media and grassroots activism. Her work is informed by a commitment to turning the tide on a range of contemporary social injustices. She has worked behind the camera, in the radio studio, and as a communication advisor for social justice groups in and outside Denmark. Her work has been featured in Danish Broadcasting Company, 24syv, VICE and she has taught at Universities and art schools in Denmark and abroad.

Most recently she hosted the podcast Revolutionen that seeked to regain the ability and courage to imagine a different future beyond the crises.
Her interdisciplinary approach is informed by her educational background in journalism and visual anthropology and her experience of alternating between working in media production and consultation for grassroots initiatives seeking media representation. She has a versatile skill-set from journalism, cultural work, interdisciplinary research, and coalition advocacy.

Throughout her career she has been at the forefront of bringing diverse communities together in novel coalitions due to a deep understanding of professional- and cultural differences in Denmark. Ethical storytelling, in-depth knowledge production, and strategic communication are some of her journalistic commitments.
